This workshop will give strategies to educate, activate and motivate troubled Black/Latino males. It is intended for K-12 districts, school administrators, teachers, counselors, curriculum personnel and board members. This interactive workshop will give 6 Factors that affect young men of color and tools to appropriately handle behavior problems that can be used right away. Educators will receive tools to build positive relationships with these students along with strategies and techniques that have been proven to work in school districts around the US including HISD, Leon County, Rialto Unified School District, Louisville Public Schools and Dolton School District just to name a few. Educators will receive one of the best techniques to handle conflict with male students that has been proven to work. Many teachers have raved about this technique because it truly works quickly. Participants will be challenged to self-evaluate their own teaching techniques including their thought process to assist in the success of these students.
