Rote memorization and spoon-fed learning are not compatible with 21st Century Learning. But despite several years of pushing higher, more rigorous instructional strategies for all students, we are still struggling to tap to into our students unlimited critical thinking potential, especially for our African American students. Join Colin Seale, Esq., award-winning educator, social justice advocate, attorney, critical thinking expert, and Founder/CEO of think Law to learn rigorous and engaging inquiry strategies that bring the Socratic method to life. This interactive session will leave you with practical tools for tapping into our students' inherent sense of justice and fairness across grade levels and subject areas, and force you rethink the current narrative of critical thinking that reserves this crucial skill set as a luxury good for the most elite students.
