The purpose of this study was to understand how teachers’ perceptions and instructional practices changed to meet the needs of diverse student populations in a school district that had experienced a demographic shift. This workshop will analyze how educators recognize the ways in which their own individuality associated with cultural backgrounds has implications toward a multicultural and social justice curriculum.
