Many of our colleges and universities express the need and desire to recruit and retain faculty of color for various reasons. Some institutions have developed recruitment plans with great financial support. Yet, few institutions have been successful in meeting their goals. This workshop will focus on some of the myths and realities of recruiting faculty of color based on data, successful strategies and best practices.
